I was wrong. I regret my native pollinator garden now. I need to turn it back into a lawn.
I was wrong. After spending a couple years turning my front lawn into a native pollinator garden, someone in my video's comment section educated me on the benefits of lawns.
I was so blinded by Big Native Plant's propaganda and Supreme Leader Doug Tallamy's intoxicating promises that I never thought to look into how amazing lawns are for insects, the air, the water...and they're NET ZERO CO2? How have I never heard this before? It sounds so good, it's almost like someone made it up!
But this guy who said I do this to virtue signal sounds like an expert, so I now understand the error of my ways. Tomorrow, I will spray my whole pollinator garden with herbicide to start over. I do see lots of bees out there right now, but I have faith that even more will appear when there are no flowers for them to visit, and instead, a beautiful carpet of nonnative grass.
You too can learn the errors of your ways. Return to lawn, as nature intended.
