Just need a place to enjoy
TL;DR ... Trying to find a place where I can help a server grow. Tried several times over the last two years to play, and constantly find myself refusing to login after a few weeks because of poor management skills. Every sever seems to have the same issue when it comes to balancing their gangs out and they are either way too aggressive, or they are super conservative.
I will pretense this with, I have a server I have built. I'd say pretty good shape, fun, and enjoyable from a solo experience but. It's taught me a lot about how evaluating back-end against what the player is doing can really make an impact in the way the experience is perceived. I have no desire to release the server publicly, or start my own, as I am rather certain we are just months away from R*OME making it's appearance based on the last few updates to R* Editor.
So, instead, I'm doing a small reach out. Just sort of seeing if anyone out there has been struggling with how to pull story making in to their server. That is the idea of roleplay, in my experience. Things should be happening that make your community want to engage and login. Endless hours of farming at the mining shop to afford coffee and gas should not be the focus of your server. If economy takes place over roleplay, and you want it to stop.. I'm here! I have experience helping on the management side of civilian/gang related activities and would be happy to chat and help anyone who might have such a role they need filled.
