Hey folks,

Can I get thoughts on this quote please?

• TSM-NEG18R.28 510W - x8
• Powerbox G2 - x1
• S6-EH1P5K-L-PLUS (230V) - x1
• Cost approx £11k

Current usage is around 3,200kwh per annum.

I'm really keen on getting solar, but just struggling to make the numbers add up. Installer reckons payback will be ~9 years. But this cost seems eyewatering for what I'm getting when looking at other posts on here 😞

FWIW I'm on stupid new-build estate (well not that new anymore) with ridiculous restrictive covenants, one of which being panels must be "in-roof" to maintain the character of the area. I'm guessing this is piling on the cost.

(part of me is thinking ignore the housing developer, and just take out a restrictive covenant indemnity insurance policy to cover my backside)
