Strategy for watching the Tour this year (UK)

Strategy for watching the Tour this year (UK)

Now the Giro has pretty much wrapped up, I'm starting to think ahead to the Tour, and just how badly I'm going to miss the ITV highlights show. I imagine some of you are feeling the same, so thought we could share thoughts about how to fill the hole it leaves behind.

Many of the ITV team (though sadly not the dry-witted wonder that is Gary Imlach) have moved to YouTube with For the Love of Cycling, and it'll be great to still have their voices/chemistry and insightful analysis. If the Giro coverage is anything to go by though, it doesn't look as if they have rights to show race footage.

I'll watch some stages live via VPN, but it's not possible to do that every day, and I find the YouTube ~8 minute highlights reels don't tell enough of the story to feel fully engaged with the race.

My question - is there a network (either free-to-air or short subscription available) with a daily longer form (~30-45 mins) highlights show? Ideally in English but my French is OK and I could probably get by with (French) subtitles.

Any other thoughts/recommendations about how to watch this year?
