It rained a little, I took some pictures.
1- Lavender Ice (Tantau), 2- Queen of Sweeden (DA), 3- Heidi Klum (Tantau), 4- Desdemona (DA), 5- A Whiter Shade of Pale (Pearce), 6- Boscobel (DA), 7- Olivia Rose Austin (DA)
I like to write mini-reviews, but it's too many roses, feel free to ask if you're curious. A few notes: Lavender Ice is another wonderful short variety with full-sized blooms, along with Heidi Klum, which I posted a few days ago, but the former has very light fragrance. A Whiter Shade of Pale is my favorite for fragrance, very strong, the bloom is huge but not very full, opens to show the center, but in this cloudy weather it keeps its high-centered shape. Boscobel is my favorite DA besides Lady Emma Hamilton, also very strong, fruit cocktail-like fragrance. Sadly I also have to pull it 😔 Queen of Sweden many people's favorite but honestly I find it underwhelming. Beautifully shaped blooms, but they are small, barely fragrant and it litters everywhere. I think it works great as a live border in a large garden, not as a single plant in a container. Desdemona and Olivia are great.
