Some Thought for my Ideal Phone for Graphene OS

I was thinking about what my ideal phone for Graphene would be, because I’m not jazzed about using a phone made by Google. While I’m more keen on Motorola building one specifically for it, for me it’s still not quite the answer. To be honest, I’m unsure if the ideal phone exists on the market today. What I see in my head is a smartphone where the screen, battery, and storage can be easily removed in order to be replaced or upgraded. Whether it has a headphone jack or not isn’t too much a concern to me, but having the option to add one might be nice.

I have lots of other ideas for it besides these.

More importantly, I want it to be built in Canada, by Canadian hands. I want to break the hold that American companies have on the market, and the hold Asian companies have on tech manufacturing. I want something that’s mine, and that I can do what I want with.

I’m sorry, I’m venting here, but I’m frustrated by the state of the tech industry, and the concept of Graphene OS has given me hope that maybe we could change things, eventually.

If this post isn’t allowed please remove it, but I needed to get this out of my head. Thank you.
