The Real Problem With Defenders Right Now Isn’t the Kill Count Bug
I truly hope this won’t be the only change related to Defenders in the near future.
Unfortunately, the issue of Defender eliminations not counting isn’t even a major problem to begin with. It’s a very minor issue that most players barely care about, yet it apparently won’t be fixed until update 41.00, which is expected around June 5th. So I honestly don’t understand why it was given priority when Defenders themselves are already extremely weak. I also can’t deny that the slow pace of fixes does not make me feel optimistic, but…🙏🏻
Please, dear devs… please bring back some dignity and usefulness to Defenders, especially for players who rely on solo play in high-level missions and prefer taking missions slowly. In their current state, their usefulness is almost nonexistent. You already know this, and you don’t need players constantly repeating it to you.
Whether by massively increasing the power of their weapons — because the damage they currently deal in high-level missions genuinely feels like they’re using level 1 common gray weapons, or by allowing us to give them our upgraded weapons again like we used to in the past.
I don’t want to sit here complaining and repeating the same things we’ve been saying for a month now, but honestly, the situation is frustrating 😞
