Q6 Max suddenly not working wireless anymore (2.4Ghz and Bluetooth)
My Q6 Max suddenly stopped working wirelessly while I was using it. Wired mode still works, but both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth seem to be broken.
Whenever the keyboard is in Bluetooth or 2.4GHz mode and I press any key, the “4” key flashes green 3 times. Nothing else happens.
So far I’ve tried:
- Resetting the keyboard with Fn + J + Z.
- In 2.4GHz mode: unplugging the receiver, holding Fn + 4 for 4–5 seconds, then reconnecting the receiver. Nothing happens, no feedback.
- In Bluetooth mode: holding Fn + 1 / 2 / 3 to start pairing. Nothing happens, no feedback.
- Reflashing the keyboard firmware through keychron launcher.
- Updating the wireless firmware. Was on 0.21, updated to 0.24 from the keychron website.
I also tried it on different usb ports, and on another device. Still no luck.
Unfortunately, the issue remains the same: the “4” key flashes green 3 times and the keyboard won’t connect wirelessly.
Does anyone know why this happens? Do both the 2.4GHz and Bluetooth modes use the same hardware module?
I have this keyboard for around 5 weeks, had the previous one replaced because some buttons suddenly stopped working while it was still under warranty.
Any help is appreciated.
