I’ve rebuilt the upper on the outdrive (alpha 1 gen 1) and the lower (new water pickup, new impeller and housing, new water hoses). I just put a new water circulation pump and thermostat in it, and after running 10 minutes on the muffs, alarm starts going off and temperature gauge will read 220. I’m taking an IR laser and shooting the temperature of different components, and nothing is over 160 degrees. Hoses going to the thermostat housing are cold, thermostat housing it self is cold. I ran it in a 100 gallon water tub yesterday and probably pulled 20 gallons of water from the tub. I know it’s pulling and circulating water, but it still alarms and reads like it’s overheating. Anything I’m possibly missing?
