The house my grandma used to live in is being sold and I asked to take her old sewing machine as it's a good one. It comes in a cabinet with some drawers and includes sewing supplies. Everything is really high quality from the machine to the spools of thread to the accessories like scissors etc. Today we moved it into my house and it absolutely stinks of an incredibly musty unpleasant smell. It's making the whole back end of my house smell really bad. I've wiped down the surfaces but it still smells, and don't even know how to get started on the spools of thread, paper patterns/booklets, and machine itself. It's almost winter where I am and outside is cold and wet, so putting it in the sun isn't an option. I'm a bit stressed about it because the last thing I want is for my house to have an old person musty smell because it's very unpleasant. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!
