We all know that what made Character Ai change its approach to users were some cases of minors who unfortunately did terrible things to themselves after using the app, obviously we can't blame the app for such things, but we clearly saw how they tried to change the way they dealt with users... For a few months.

So why, I ask, did they go back to treating adult users as underage users? Filtering more sensitive content, infantilizing bots. They are clearly trying to get the underage audience back, after everything they have been through, they want to make the same mistake, without caring about the possible victims. They pretended to care about what happened and then resumed as if nothing had happened.
