Appreciate this is the 100th DR question this week but I can't find the information online.

In the case of a tight connection, made tighter by a delay on the first leg of a journey, what is the situation if the first train arrives before the second train departs, but with insufficient time to walk between platforms.

For example, I imagine you would want five minutes to go between the EMR and HS1 platforms at StP. If you didn't have time to make that connection, would you be entitled to DR?

It feels common sense that you would be, but given time need is subjective / relative, I can imagine it might cause a hassle.
