Is anyone else who rents completely burnt out by the admin involved to get a rental over here? I've been renting on and off since uni (mid 30s now) and it's insane.

I've had to fill in a form of usually 8 sections and provide a whole heap of evidence just to get a viewing, and most of the time the house is gone before you even get to see it.

Is this across the province or is Belfast in some sort of rental blackhole of bureaucracy?
