Better headphones than the DT770 pros?

Hi all,

I've had my DT770 pros for over a year now, and while I adore them, they have broken a bit on one side (freak accident, totally my fault), and I feel like I could definitely get better quality.
What I feel like I'm missing is bass and clarity, if that makes sense? Not an expert so I'm definitely ignorant. But I feel like the sound is a little muddled, like I can't exactly pick apart the music like I used to be able to. Maybe that's just me getting used to the headphones, I'm not sure. If anyone can give any suggestions, that would be great.
Prefer to stay under $300 USD, and I usually listen to metal and alternative rock

How to get a bird to gain weight?

Hi all,

Long story short, today I got a new gcc. He's very young, around 2.5 months and was weaned a little earlier because his mom was chewing on him. According to the breeder, he refused handfeeding, and so the little guy was on seed. Unfortunately he is pretty skinny (I've ordered a kitchen scale to weigh him and am considering a vet once he's a little more settled), but I've read that losing weight when weaning is normal? I'm still a little worried as he's much skinnier than my other conure. Does anyone have any tips or advice? I got some formula just in case he does accept, but if he doesn't could I theoretically use it on his food or with egg food to help him out?

Hi all,
Soon I will hopefully be moving into my first rental place with my birds. The only issue is that you can absolutely tell the current tenant is a smoker. Going in to look, it was a little hard to breathe (then again, I’m not used to it so it’s especially bad to me lol).
So the first goal will be to clean and remove the smell. Thankfully nothing looked yellow, the curtains were still nice and white, so not a horrible situation. The plan is to air it out really well, use some vinegar solution, f10, cage cleaner, and see how that works.
Are there any suggestions? Tips or tricks? I’ve never done anything like this before, so I’m double checking everywhere I can.
Thanks!
