I had a hernia repair for a small hernia just above my belly button. It was an open procedure with no mesh and 1 week later I noticed the small bulge was back above my belly button. I’m able to push it back in just like before but this clearly means the hernia is back. I have not exerted myself or been to gym. The only physical activity I’ve had is occasional 20 minutes walks. Would the Dr likely redo the surgery again??
