Heya experts of reddit - I found this coin in my old collection today and was doing some research on it. Apparently it's a Florian medallion which is neat but also apparently there's a recasting of it that occured in the 19th century, though I couldn't find any reliable documentation that can distinguish a real from a fake.

I know better than to clean the coin so don't worry about that, just wanting to know if there's a good way to determine if it's original or not essentially.

Coin is about 3cm in diameter and weighs 21 grams, it is also not magnetic at all even near a powerful neodymium magnet.
