I was told on the Public Address system that the train I boarded at Crewe (originally heading to Wrexham) would be going to Holyhead and to remain seated at Chester whilst the train coupled onto another unit. However on arrival at Chester, I was told to get my luggage and belongings and to move to the train in front, presumably as the two units failed to couple together. I was told that the original unit was supposed to be going to Wrexham, but passengers heading there were also told to change trains. Can anyone see what went wrong please?
