I'm overwhelmed. We adopted a mixed race (we are not sure what mix) puppy that had 2 months and she was a delight, but now at 3 months, she gained this habit that every time that she sees my partner's feet or my feet, she bites deep and furiously. She does this especially when we are in our room with her (she has a bed).

Whether we are minding our own business or hugging her or kissing her, she play bites and then immediately goes to attack the legs or arms, to the point that we have both bled from wounds. If we get in the bed, she will climb to it, and she only stops if we hide below the sheets.

And if we're standing up, she bites and stops at nothing unless we grab her (which she then growls and tries to bite constantly), or if we leave the room. We've tried reverse timeout, once in a session of over 1 hour of leaving and entering the room, but it did nothing.

She now has a cone because my mom's cat hit her in the eye, but she has been recovering alright. The problem is that this biting just puts us so nervous that I just feel sick and tired of having to deal with her.

Please help.
