Jack Wheeler and Audrey is a pretty WEIRD couple
I mean pretty sure I'm not the only one who thinks these two together are really weird and uncanny for a lot of reasons. First, Jack is presented as a Ben's friend who's there to help the Great Northern Hotel to get back on it's feet, but then he sees Audrey and talk about how much she was pretty since she was, like, ten years old or something ???? And after that, Audrey, who was a pretty solid character throughout the whole series , become some sort of nothing burger.
I really like Twin Peaks and one of the reasons is how ahead of it's time the show is. When Audrey fell in love with Cooper, even if he liked her too, the response was only one: you are my friend and you are a goddamn underage girl for f*ck sake! I wonder what the hell just happened at the writing room after that ...
P.S.: i really hate that plane scene............
