I was walking south on Broadway this morning lamenting the homelessness and mental illness that has become ubiquitous to this area. An orthodox Jewish family with a little boy was walking the opposite direction. I thought, how cute the little boy looked in his little tie and jacket when I saw a man I assume was mentally ill repeatedly put up the Nazi salute at them and yell, “Heil Israel”. No one did anything of course, including me. I just wanted to make note of this incident. 😔
