I am traveling to Germany for 5 days at the end of the month and I am trying to understand German public transportation system. As far as I understand there are tickets that you can buy that are valid for 24-hours. I am going from Kleve to Dusseldorf and as I look up 24-hour tickets for one person it is almost 40 euros, but then I looked up tickets within Dusseldorf area, where I will be for those days and it is about 8 euro.

I was wondering if I buy a ticket that I am using to go from Kleve to Dusseldorf, do I need to buy another one to travel in Dusseldorf?
