At 28y and currently working on getting officially diagnosed. I've recently gone beyond the breaking point and realized just how much pain I've been hiding from myself for all those years. After being told about hEDS and POTS by my doctor, everything just. makes sense. From the debilitating brain fog and migraines to the smallest of random zapping pain, the exhaustion, the stomach pains since childhood, the yawning spells twice a day that made me look like a lazy sleepy kid in school. So many random pains, including chest pains, that I always just ignored because, well it's just there.

And finally I unlocked the last piece, one of my first memories at 2 years old, realising that breathing kinda burns... but oh well if I don't think about it, like I don't think about breathing, then it's alright I guess. Now I know it wasn't alright. And it still burns.

Anyhow, here is the question. One of the random things I've noticed about my body over the years, and that was almost a party trick in highschool, is that lightly knocking or even gently tapping the tip of the fingers on my sternum makes a deep cavernish echo sound. And yes that resonance affects burps, also a party trick in hs. I assume tissues in that area are just too stretchy and resonate sounds, and/or lose joints (ribs have always been an issue)

Mostly curious if anyone has something similar.
