DIY Acoustic looking Electronic kick drum

I couldn't find any electronic kick drum in my country and the foreign options were too expensive to import, this applied also for those drum head with the electronic pad conversion kits like the Roland KD-A22.

I picked up a 16" Kick drum (Pearl Roadshow Jr), an old Alesis pad that I found in my local marketplace and a 16" mesh head From temu.

I disassembled the Alesis pad, then I screwed it back together with the mesh head in between like a sandwich so the screws themselves and the plastic of both parts will hold it in place.
