Hi everyone!
This is my second post on this subreddit (I think), and while it is good news, I am extremely nervous and a little bit fearful. I just got the call to schedule my surgery, which will take place next month. While I knew the day was coming, I honestly did not expect them to get me in so quickly, especially since I just met with the specialist last Friday. Needless to say, while I am ready to know if endo is what has been ailing me, I am fearful that it's actually not, and fearful of the surgery itself. My first priority is always going to be my health, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't also worried about how the recovery process will affect my progress in my graduate program, since we have summer classes as well. There are just a lot of emotions happening right now. Any advice/suggestions/experiences are welcome. Thank you all!
