Being organised by the FEIT, I thought that this event was supposed to be targeted towards engineering students as they only allowed students from masters of engineering to attend. However, Amazon's team (no disrespect to the field or career) ended up talking mostly about an entry level warehouse manager's role mostly instead of actual engineering internships/grad roles. And the role they advertised for didn't even need an engineering degree or master's to apply for and was more aimed as a generalist job or maybe management. Hopefully FEIT next time brings in companies that have actually more engineering roles offered in their intern/grad program.
P.s. we also had to sign a waiver signing away so many permissions for our images to be used in whatever way to enter, with an actual bouncer guarding the door for the lecture hall 😭😭🤣
