New salesman advice with no experience
I got an amazing opportunity to be a salesman for a Mercedes-Benz dealership. I'm about a week and a half into my training. I've never had any sales experience but I'm a quick learner. I've tried to talk to customers but I get a little anxious or sometimes don't know what to say or when to be quiet. I feel like I have the most trouble asking what they're looking for. Any advice? Anything you wish you knew when you first started?
Also, I "sold" two cars but they go under my mentors name because I'm still training. Would it be appropriate to ask for that commission? We don't split deals at this dealership.
