Combination of apocalyptic levels of Scandinavian adventurers and the appearance of the Lollard heresy has lead to the total collapse of unified English identity.

The Anglo-Saxon north is constantly engaged in wars with their southern, Lollard neighbors, as well as against their newly arrived Anglo-Nordic rivals in the southeast (who also are split between Lollards and Catholics)

This has basically let Ireland and Scotland slowly eat up the Welsh and Cumbrian minors that would have been food for the Anglo-Saxons.

Been doing a sort of "Generations of Noah" thing but with Greek heroes and kings, sort of like how the Romans did to Aneas in the Aneaid.

This are the arms of the Kingdom of Kaphtor, who's ruling house Minosid claims descent from the great King Minos of Knossos, who was said to be one of the three judges of the dead in Greek mythology.

oh, forgot to mention, kinda ahistorical I think, but Minos is often depicted by later Christian artists as either having donkey ears (making him stupid) devil ears (evil of course) or wrestling with snakes as torture, so here I depicted Minos clutching a snake.
