Is a patient considered non-compliant if they refuse to do surgery or other extreme treatments when ordered to do so by doctors?
I am 25 and male. I have chronic feet pain or 6+ years, and doctors tell me I need to get surgery. I said I am terrified because there is a chance that surgery won’t resolve things or make things worse. I already learned the hard way when accurate screwed up my body when I took it for acne a few years ago. Am I considered non complaint? Is a good patient supposed to do everything a doctor says without question?
