Recently got back into the game, and I am blown away about the number of releases per month per sport (Chrome Black, Cosmic, Chrome platinum, Series 2, Signature, Finest, etc). I understand the spiel of collect what you want to collect or buy what you want to buy. BUT - my mind thinks all these drops / releases = lower quality of cards per Hobby Box or pack. Is this true? Is there a general “you should avoid” these products? Are some of these drops more of a gimmick than collector value? TIA.
