How do I prove that a system is dynamic by a single value of the impulse response?
Many times in the problems I have been solving I saw that the reasoning behind a system being dynamic was just that "h[1]=-1≠0=>dynamic" I looked everywhere I can't find a reason for this, it must be that I don't understand convolution well enough to know what that implies. I am just confused as to how the value of h can determine whether I would need past or future values of x[n] to compute y[n]
