Doing paperwork after a 10-hour shift sucks. Would a "voice-to-invoice" app actually help?

Hey guys,

Lurking here for a while. It seems like the biggest drain for solo operators isn't the physical labor, but the admin work eating up your evenings.

I’m a dev looking to build something dead-simple to fix this.

The Idea: You finish a job, get in the truck, open an app, and just speak:

"Job done at Smith's. 3 hours labor, $50 for the valve. Send her an invoice and remind me to follow up next Tuesday."

The app transcribes it, auto-generates a professional PDF invoice, texts/emails it to the client, and updates your calendar. Zero typing.

My questions for you:

Is this actually useful, or am I overthinking it?

What’s the one thing it has to get right so you don't hate using it?

I'm not selling anything or asking for sign-ups—I just want honest feedback before I spend months coding this. Please roast the idea or let me know if it would actually solve a headache for you!
