The draft is done. I believe many people are overhyping this class already.

Hot take: I don’t think the “obvious” top picks are going to win ROTY. Feels like every year it ends up being someone a little under the radar who lands in the perfect system. Situation > talent most of the time.

Also wouldn’t be surprised if one of the teams everyone is praising right now completely flops. Happens every year—great draft grades don’t always translate to wins.

My early prediction: a mid/late first-round player wins ROTY in 2027 and at least one top-10 pick struggles hard their rookie season.
