I had initially sent in the 485 form and had gotten an RFE for my first sponsor, but the sponsor had basically opted out by then, and I had to find someone else.

Which is what I did, and I sent in an entirely new 864 form with all the needed evidence and submitted it as part of the "RFE"

Apparently, that was NOT OK despite our lawyer telling us that it was OK to do that.

Incredibly stressed. Has anyone had this experience before?
