Why are there still so many tickets left?
Hello,
I not really active in this sub, so I hope it’s okay to open this thread.
I bought tickets for the preview show on Monday as the live shows were too expensive for me. Before I bought them, I looked through this sub and also talked to friends who have been to the ESC in the past and it seemed like it’s incredibly hard to buy tickets and therefor better to buy them and resell them later if you can’t go (or for any other reasons).
Now I actually can’t go, so I put my tickets on fansale about 2 weeks ago, I went down to almost half the price a couple days ago and still every time I check it shows more tickets available. And there are still tickets left in the normal shop as well - even for the live shows of the semifinals. I’m incredibly sad that I’ve paid over 300€ (which is a lot of money for me) and can’t even manage to resell at least one of the tickets for half the price. I’m aware that it is the risk you pay (literally) with tickets, I’m just extremely confused as why everyone acted like it’s so hard to get tickets and a few days before there are still so many left. Is it really just because of Israel participating and people boycotting the ESC?
EDIT: I'm aware of people boycotting, please read the whole post. My question is if it is "just" because of Israel participating or if there are more reasons
