Hope I could get some advice and potential leads.
We have plenty of experience scaling a DTC brand and are currently in the process of launching a women’s health gummy product/brand for the US market.
We’re looking for a US-based manufacturer who can produce our gummy supplement with fair MOQs for a launch and competitive pricing compared to China manufacturing + US 3PL via sea freight LCL.
I say that specifically because there are a lot of brands in our space utilizing China-made products at scale that we’ll be competing with, so ideally we can compete on that level and have competitive margins.
We’d like to avoid China involvement for our customers and use “Made in the USA” as a selling point.
We’re looking for around 2,500 units, with 60 gummies per unit at 2.5g per gummy.
Unfortunately, the process has been very clunky and slow so far, especially with slow response times, compared to working with China-based manufacturers for our current beauty brand.
I’m still surprised there isn’t an Alibaba equivalent for US-based manufacturers!
If anyone could point me in the right direction, we’d greatly appreciate it.
