A bunch of trauma, going through the motions of escaping an abusive household where I and my little sister were raised in a war zone for no good reason and physically and emotionally abused, the authorities helped a little but didn't make it stop.
They were probably manipulated by my mom's chronic disease that made her have many miscarriages until she was able to have us, and also excused my parents behavior as the stress omitted from those chronic illness' effects. I hope my sister is able to run away without feeling guilty, we've been through too much. It would take hours upon hours to go through the huge list of horrifying details that our lives had because of those parents
Looking at our parents actions, they cannot be excused by the issues emitting from a chronic illness. It looks more like toxic unreasonable decisions. If you're weak, why are you choosing a war zone to live in? If your stress makes you regularly hit and scream at your kids for every little thing, to the point that they're scared while doing absolutely regular actions and being as tightly polite as a kid can get, because you'll still lash out at them with no prior warning even while they actike this 24/7... Then why are you still living in there?
Seems like my sadistic dad found it very attractive that he would have an excuse to abuse his kids
