Had an interview today and the hiring manager mentioned they don't believe in work-life balance, but instead practice "work-life integrity" (or integration). They said "work and personal life aren't meant to be separated, but aligned around values".

Sounded good in theory, but I've heard that framing used to justify "always be available" culture before.

For those who've worked somewhere that actually practices this well, what did it look like day-to-day? And how do you tell the difference between a company that genuinely does it vs one that just uses it as a buzzword?
