New axolotl parent looking to see you set-up
Hi!
I got an axolotl few days ago. He was not in a great set up where he was, and I kinda fell for him. He was not eating enough and compare to the others axo with him, he was much smaller and did not seem to go well. His skin was damage also, and knowing it was a difficult project because they need a lot of care, I took the contract to take care of him.
I made a lot of reading so I can take care of him and give him his best life in my home. For now, he's a very small guy (8cm). He is in a small aquarium that is big enough for his size, but I know he is going to grow up to be a big guy. I know I have time before habing to switch tank, but I also know that he can grow up fast and I want to be ready before he gets to big for the tank I got now.
I know pretty much what I need, that they are very sensitive creature, what they eat, it's not my first aquarium and I got into this adventure with the little guy knowing he is an high maintenance creature. (Sorry I just really want to make clear that even if for now he is in a small tank, he is gonna get a bigger one when he grows up :) )
So I would like you guys to show me your tanks so I can see what others do to get inspiration to make mine. If you even want to explain for example witch kind of filter you use if you have a particular reason you like this one, I would be interested to know!
I want my axolotl to get the best life he can get. I want him to be stimulate, in shape and happy. After only few days with me he eats more, his skin is getting better. So he tells me I am taking good care of him. And I want to plan the futur wich is the big tank!
