I have 100% on everything in the game. The only things I am missing are the all the little items for the Batcave that bat-mite sells and I am missing gold on some AR trials. Would anybody know how to solve this, or is my save file just bugged?
On a side note, there is a bug with the suit counter with a bat girl suit. The suit will not display in the bat cave, but I do have all 100 suits
My concept for Skylanders 7 is called Skylanders Digitized
First, the figures. The biggest concern with Skylanders in a modern market is how we can integrate the figures with current audiences. The solution is simple. The game allows users to buy the character $6 digitally that stores them digitally in you console. Physical figures will have a more limited run for $12 and will be on sellers like Amazon, Target, Walmart and GameStop. Using figures in game will also store the character digitally for you to use later. The same would go for the starter packs. The digital starter pack will be standard price and come with 3 Skylanders. But the physical one will be $20 extra because you get the portal and the characters. Portals and starter pack Skylanders will also be sold separately. That way people who buy the game digitally are not locked from buying the portal and physical figures down the line if they so choose. This is probably the best way to go about it to keep the game accessible while being respectful to long time fans.
All past figures will work as long as you have a physical portal. Only the new characters can be bought digitally.
As for the gimmick. Instead of going in the route of a new gimmicky toy like traps are vehicles, the gimmick this time around is combos and swapping on the fly. At the start of each level, you pick 3 characters. Once you are in the level, you can use swap characters with the press of a button and perform assists with them. This adds a new layer to gameplay that can remain consistent and impactful throughout your game. It would also be much more friendly on the wallet. Regarding old characters for assists, it would just have to be one of their abilities. Nothing special. That would take too long to develop.
As for the story, IDK. Something something Kaos something something digital.
In conclusion. I think this is a great way to bring Skylanders back into the light while being accessible and friendly to new fans while remaining up to standard with returning fans. While also adding new depth and complexity to gameplay.
I'm relatively new to Batman. I really enjoy Nightwing and plan on reading a bunch of his stuff. But I also want to get involved in the bat family more. I'm stuck between the Tomasi omni because it has Batman and Robin. But I also really like James Tynion as a writer.
