I crashed within three weeks from having a normal life and now I am bedbound. What to do?
Hello everyone,
I had an infection with a bacterial superinfection, and it seems I’ve had several crashes since then. I’ve now been bedbound with POTS for about two weeks. Unfortunately, I’m in a private clinic. I managed to get here, but then I completely collapsed.
A COVID/ME/CFS doctor now wants to transfer me to a Long COVID clinic and has prescribed cortisone for the time being. There, she wants to do ketogenic diet, vagus nerve training, and similar things with me.
But I’m really worried that this might be the wrong path. I’ve already been bedbound for over three weeks now. My family and friends are also considering bringing me back home.
What do you think? I’m so scared.
