Hey guys, just wanting some advice and opinions, my son is 10, his left eye has always deviated, they’ve wanted to do laser on it since he was around 5 but I have put it off as he wasn’t really old enough to have an opinion, and it doesn’t effect and won’t improve his vision, we are now booked in for a pre-surgery consultation. It’s strictly for cosmetic reasons, he wants it as kids are cruel and he would prefer to do it now, so he doesn’t have to pay to do it when he is older. I’m wanting any and all opinions/ advice. I’m supportive of his choice but also scared as that’s my baby, what’s recovery like and is it worth it? Is he too young for this procedure? The doctors are saying it’s very common and to me the fact that they have been recommending it for years says he is, but I’m getting mixed opinions.
