Seeking Help
Good Morning, new to the forum, and wanted to ask for some help. I can’t find any information on this watch, manuals, or otherwise. Been trying to seat the (correct me if I’m wrong) train of wheels into the jewels but it’s not aligning. I don’t believe there is damage, but I am not an expert. The movement under a microscope does not appear damaged but I have noticed that one of the gears “floats” and im beginning to wonder if the movement had a longer shaft and it has snapped.
This all started with me changing the battery, I noticed the second hand was stuck and shifting back and forth but the hours and minutes moved freely.
The 2nd solid gear to the right has a pivot spit and flops to the sides unless perfectly inline and supported by the larger hollow gear and seated on the lower Soild gear. I suspect that is not “Factory” and i may be looking for a snapped Gear spindle... A manual would help
Any advice would be appreciated.
Additionally, if anyone knows of a modern quart I can sub this out for to get the dial runner, I'd appreciate it!
