I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this with older lexus es models?

I have an older Lexus ES (07) and noticed a musty/stale AC smell that’s strongest right at startup, especially when the fan is on low after the car has been sitting in the heat.

I did replace the cabin air filter but it didn’t remedy the problem. I used a borescope to inspect the evaporator and found it completely caked in debris lint build up. Im not sure if I should get it replaced or if the evap cleaner will do the job? Anyone else have the smell issue?
