after reading alchemist i starated connecting it to one piece and i thinkit is none other than the goa kingdom

i think the whirlpool luffy encounters early in journey was caused by the marked man who has the final road poneglyph and he was near to the island.
Goa is also a real coastal region in India And in old legends, its meaning is linked to: The disappearance of darkness… like the sunrise sounds familiar well it should it symbolizes luffy the new sun god overthrowing the darkness of the world government.
many prominent figures such as luffy,garp,sabo etc were from the island
in one of the openings we see roger standing next to a mountain that looks like coluba mountain in the goa kingdom the reason roger might have laughed was because it was near to his hometown loguetown maybe symbolizing that the beginning is also the end
the poneglyph engraving on the goa kingdom coins and nika resembling sculptures also indicate this.
