I'm 14 months post car accident/ORIF surgery first three metatarsals were fixed with screws. Also 11 months post op for hardware removal. I felt overall pretty good, but at my 1 year check the doc said my ORIF had failed, and I would need a fusion. I don't know if it was all in my head, or I just started to notice it, (I also had a left TKR 4 months ago) but my foot has started to hurt, and be generally sensitive again. Anyone with a similar situation, minus the knee replacement, how long did you wait for fusion? Is this something I need to do soon, or can it wait a few years?
