Disclosure statement Form 2 QLD
Can someone explain to me the relevance of the benefits of the disclosure statement if the seller doesn’t have to attach all the searches supporting the responses.
Same with the smoke alarm certificates- why the seller doesn’t have to provide it?
They can tick all the boxes to say the property is compliant and no issues and it’s up to the buyer to check whether this is correct.
I get it that the buyer can terminate the contract if the statement is incorrect, but why not to oblige the seller to provide the searches??
