So I found out I was waitlisted at my top choice (rejected from all others as well), but the problem is I have to find a professor on my own to take me on in order to get accepted into the program. They gave me 10 days to find someone. What do I do? I've sent emails to about 4 professors, and a letter of continued interest to the department. How to I give myself the best shot of getting a response back from a professor?
