Hi, I’m trying to understand how smaller recruitment agencies in Bhopal manage their day-to-day operations.

From what I’ve seen, a few things seem quite time-consuming:

  • Managing candidates and jobs in Excel/Sheets
  • Following up with candidates on WhatsApp
  • Screening resumes manually
  • Coordinating interview schedules

If you’re running or working in a consultancy here, I’m curious:

  • What takes up most of your time daily?
  • Which part of the process feels the most repetitive or frustrating?
  • Have you tried improving or streamlining any of this? What worked / didn’t?

Not selling anything—just trying to understand how things actually work on the ground in Bhopal.

I’ve been observing operations in small service businesses (especially recruitment agencies), and a few patterns keep coming up:

  • Heavy reliance on spreadsheets for tracking
  • Manual follow-ups with clients and candidates
  • A lot of time spent on repetitive screening/coordination work

Curious to hear from others:

  • What’s the most time-consuming repetitive workflow you’ve seen?
  • What have you tried to streamline it?
  • Where do things usually break when trying to improve these systems?

Not looking for tools—more interested in real operational bottlenecks and lessons learned.
