Howdy!

I am moving from Texas to New York next summer (2027) for family. I am seeking to transfer my English 7-12 cert there. I have five years of experience and never had a mark on my record, so the transfer should go smoothly (according to NYSED's site).

I started the application today with the intent of applying to teaching positions up there January 2027. Is it too early to begin this process of getting my certification transferred?
