22M lamotrogine and weaning off Venlafaxine - Aspiration or acid reflux??
Hi there. Im 196lb and 5'10". Last night I was eating pizza and feel as though I swallowed a piece of crust weirdly. It definitely slid against my throat in a way that caused a flare up within it, of that im certain. However, I cant tell if it went down the wrong pipe or not. Ive been feeling an object in my chest which is just now feeling like burning, some adrenaline spikes, and a fever. Last night i nearly vomited what felt like just straight stomach acid and pizza. From what I read all of this is symptoms of both issues.
The bit that makes me feel it may just be acid reflux is that im fully able to speak and didnt have a coughing fit upon swallowing. The bit that makes me feel it could be aspiration is the lump and the chest issues have been consistently on the left side.
Im hesitant to go to a doctor in person, as im very poor and trying to be frugal as much as I can.
